Spray painted plastic chairs

When moving out someone lent us two purple plastic chairs for the balcony and they were welcome. However, we left that house with a balcony and moved to another one without. And that is how the chairs found their way into the house. There was nowhere else to keep them and their purple colour kept looking off in the mostly orange, brown and white house.

I got Pinspired to try out spray-painting the chairs a colour I liked. And so it began, the affair with spray paint! I got some reddish-orange colour from the supermarket and got on with my project.

Note to any ambitious spray painters: Spray-painting MUST be done outside where there is plenty of air! The smell could make you choke and gag!

Each seat took a full bottle of spray paint. I left them to dry outside for the rest of the day.
